Writing a good directory description
There is a site directory available on Ipaya. Registered publishers are allowed to create an entry for their site consisting of site name, URL, category and description. We suggest you read these guidelines, as we might change or disable your directory entry if it doesn't conform:

Site name and description: Use simple language, avoid special tricks
  • Do not use excessive capitalization:
Instead of "ARTICLES ABOUT JAPAN", write "Articles about Japan"
  • Use normal punctuation:
    Don't write "articles!!!" or " ***articles*** "
  • Check for spelling errors
  • No inappropriate language
  • Do not use any HTML tags
Description: be short, informative and focused on your uniqueness
  • Keep the description of your site brief:
no longer than 5-10 words. Shorter descriptions are easier to find.
  • Focus on keywords about your uniqueness:
Examples: "Suspense novel about a hijacked nuclear submarine" or "historical encyclopedia containing over 5,000 articles about Brazil"
  • Avoid repetitions:
Words already present in your site name or in your selected category should not reappear in your description, if possible
  • Avoid promotional language
Don't use "free", "new" and similar terms
  • Avoid general terms that fit most entries:
Don't use "welcome to", "online", "website", "homepage", "click here", "visit this link". Don't begin with "This site is...".
  • If your site title says it all, you may publish your site with no description
